2024 Wevers Institute Septuagint Summer Course

I’m very glad to post information today about the upcoming Septuagint Summer School that will be held at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, not too far away from Vancouver. As you can see if you scroll down to the very bottom of the Institute’s website here, it’s truly a beautiful place — and there’s good scholarship to boot!

This year, the course is from 24-28 June, just after the Montreal Septuagint Symposium, and focuses on translation and legal concepts in the Greek Pentateuch. (more…)

Updated Information: 2020 TWU Septuagint Summer School

A few days ago I posted about the upcoming Septuagint Summer School to be held at Trinity Western University. I recently heard from Dr. Dirk Büchner, who will be conducting the course, with further information about the content of the course, which you can see in the file below. The course will still move forward but it will be online only, given the concerns over COVID-19. I will publish further updates as needed here in the weeks to come.
